Overview
olexto Digital Solutions (Pvt) Ltd designed, developed, and successfully delivered a complete end-to-end digital utility management platform for Dunsinane Estate under the Water Supply and Sanitation Improvement Project (WASSIP), operated in association with the National Water Supply & Drainage Board (NWSDB) of Sri Lanka. Completed and commissioned in 2025, the system replaced manual meter reading, paper-based billing, and fragmented customer records with a unified cloud-based back-office platform and field-ready Android mobile application.
Challenge
Dunsinane Estate required a live WASSIP node solution serving residential and estate consumers without manual meter reading, paper billing, or disconnected customer records — while meeting institutional audit and multi-level administration requirements.
Solution
We delivered an integrated Laravel back-office with Android field apps featuring offline meter reading, GPS meter tagging, on-location thermal bill printing, SMS notifications, payment recording, and full user activity traceability from mobile through to administration.
