QR-based certification and farm-to-product traceability for the Department of Export Agriculture, Sri Lanka
Overview
A centralized web platform for spices and allied export crop certification — enabling producer and farming community registration, certification application workflows, inspection and approval automation, QR code traceability from final product to farm level, and operational dashboards for Department of Export Agriculture officers across Sri Lanka.
Challenge
The Department needed to replace fragmented certification records with a unified system supporting export crop compliance monitoring, regional certification tracking, and transparent farm-to-product traceability for spices and allied crops.
Solution
We built a Laravel back-office with a React officer portal, MySQL data management, and QR traceability integration — covering producer registration, cluster management, inspection workflows, certificate issuance, and audit history with role-based departmental access.
